The same app on all three systems. Your account and saves stay the same.

Install from the terminal

The same downloads as above, as commands. Pick your system, copy and paste.

The Windows commands are for PowerShell, not the old Command Prompt.

  • Hoard Setup

    Recommended

Hoard Setup without its window: it installs the engine and the app in the format this machine wants, same as the big button.

    curl.exe -fLo "$env:TEMP\HoardSetup.exe" https://github.com/rleeon/hoard/releases/latest/download/HoardSetup-x86_64.exe
    Start-Process "$env:TEMP\HoardSetup.exe" -ArgumentList '--silent' -Wait
    Get-Content "$env:TEMP\hoard-setup.log"
  • Script · server or NAS

Needs nothing graphical, which Hoard Setup does. On a machine without a desktop it installs the engine only.

Steam Deck plugin

Game Mode doesn't show notifications, so Hoard has a plugin for Decky Loader: it tells you when a save is uploaded, fails or is restored, and has a Manual Upload button. Install Decky first, then run this from Desktop Mode.

curl -fLO https://github.com/rleeon/hoard/releases/latest/download/hoard-decky.tar.gz
tar -xzf hoard-decky.tar.gz
cd hoard-decky && ./decky-install.sh

Uninstall

Uninstalling takes the program away, never your saves: the copies on your disk and in the cloud stay where they are.

The Windows commands are for PowerShell, not the old Command Prompt.

  • Hoard Setup

    Recommended

Takes away the app, the sync engine and its background service in one go.

    curl.exe -fLo "$env:TEMP\HoardSetup.exe" https://github.com/rleeon/hoard/releases/latest/download/HoardSetup-x86_64.exe
    Start-Process "$env:TEMP\HoardSetup.exe" -ArgumentList '--uninstall' -Wait
    Get-Content "$env:TEMP\hoard-setup.log"
